Most products that we use in our family tavern are locally grown. We use our own olive oil, potatoes, olives, garlic, fresh onions, peppers, tomatoes, aubergines, zucchini, oregano etc.
Every year our potato production levels are around 2000 kilos. The crop is lifted from the soil in mid-June and is naturally used in the taverna for the duration of the season.
All our winter agricultural activities are related to the taverna therefore allowing us to make home produced products available to our guests. This in turn gives our guests the opportunity to taste and enjoy top quality, authentic Corfiot home cooking!
Our kitchen is always open to our customers giving them the opportunity to see first hand the secrets behind Corfiot cuisine. Maria is always ready to show how Corfiot and other specialties are cooked to those who feel like indulging their creativity and learning Greek cuisine for themselves.
